Frozen In Time

Louisiana’s historic snow storm of January 2025 brought unprecedented snowfall amounts to south Louisiana. While the blizzard conditions kept many photographers indoors, I could not miss the opportunity to capture our ancient cypress trees in the snow. After enduring a frigid boat ride through the snowy swamp, the sky opened up and rewarded me with an amazing sunset illuminating the ancient cypress covered in snow!
